Portfolio Accountant
Our client, a residential community builder with decades of experience, seeks a Portfolio Accountant to handle financial reporting and month-end close for their real estate investments. This hybrid role offers a mix of in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reporting for corporate and portfolio of residential land development and build-to-rent projects
- Lead month end close process
- Manage accounting process for assigned portfolio including account reconciliation, corporate accounting, audits, vendor inquiries, reporting requirements and ad-hoc reporting
- Collaborate with Acquisitions, Asset Management, Operations, Legal, and property managers

The Accountant will prepare the financial reporting for our clients corporate financial reporting, their portfolio of residential land development and build-to rent (BTR) projects.
Lead the month end close process and be responsible for the accounting process for their assigned portfolio of accounts, including account reconciliation, corporate accounting, audits, vendor inquiries, reporting requirements and ad-hoc reporting. Collaborate with Acquisitions, Asset Management, Operations, Legal, and property managers.
This is a full-time, exempt role, working 8:30AM – 5:30PM in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Friday will be remote workdays, occasionally the role may be required to be in the office on Mondays and Friday, as needed.
