Tax Associate, PE/VC
Point72 seeks a Tax Associate for its PE/VC Tax team to handle fund-level tax compliance and planning. Ideal for a CPA with 3-5 years of U.S. taxation experience, offering fully-paid healthcare and generous parental leave.
Responsibilities
- Assist with tax compliance for operating companies, family partnerships, private equity, and venture capital funds
- Review tax return extensions, federal and state income tax returns, and investor Schedule K-1s
- Prepare and review tax workpapers and design automated processes
- Support tax research and analysis on PE/VC fund issues
- Assist in automating tax workpaper preparation using proprietary tax technology

The team partners closely with Big Four accounting firms and leading external advisors to manage the preparation and review of partnership, corporate, individual, international, and state tax filings. Beyond compliance, the group leads tax research, planning initiatives, and firmwide projects, collaborating across the organization to address complex tax issues in a dynamic investment environment.
