Software Engineer, Macro Technology
Point72 seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build trader-facing full-stack applications for Macro trading, leveraging AI tools and modern tech stack (C#, Java, React, SQL) in a hybrid role based in Stamford, CT or NYC. Fully-paid healthcare and generous benefits included.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver high-impact, trader-facing full-stack applications that directly improve Macro trading workflows and execution speed
- Lead the development of trade capture workflows, blotter interfaces, and workflow automation to simplify front-office activity and reduce operational friction
- Partner with traders and portfolio managers to translate live workflow conversations into practical software designs and prioritized delivery plans
- Drive end-to-end delivery across frontend, backend, and data layers, owning solutions from problem framing through production rollout and validation
- Use AI tools as a core part of the engineering process to accelerate implementation, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and documentation
