Role summary - We’re looking for a Frontend Team Lead to own the architecture and engineering standards behind a large-scale fintech platform used by millions worldwide.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of frontend engineers, drive key technical decisions across a monorepo with 70+ micro-frontend applications, and help shape how the entire frontend organization builds software—while staying hands-on where it matters.

Location: Israel Work model: Hybrid Employment type: Full-time What you’ll do Own frontend architecture across a large React + TypeScript monorepo with micro-frontend composition at runtime Drive a modern frontend stack including Nx, Rspack, Module Federation, React Query, an internal design system, and shared component libraries Set and uphold engineering standards and quality: unit and E2E testing, linting, CI/CD pipelines, and performance monitoring Lead a frontend team through hiring, mentoring, career development, and technical direction Collaborate closely with Product, Design, DevOps, and Architecture Improve developer experience with shared tooling, code generators, and AI-assisted workflows that help teams ship faster and safer Who you are 6+ years of frontend development experience, including 3+ years leading a team Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend architecture Proven experience building or scaling monorepo and/or micro-frontend systems Strong opinions on code quality, testing strategies, and CI/CD Experience in fintech, payments, or large-scale SaaS — a strong advantage Excellent communication skills and high-level English Why this role You’ll shape the platform every product team builds on, not just a single feature Real architectural ownership and leadership impact — not just process management A modern, actively evolving stack with AI-assisted tooling already in the workflow A seat at the table for technical strategy and engineering culture #LI-CD1 The Payoneer Ways of Working Act as our customer’s partner on the inside Learning what they need and creating what will help them go further.
