Spotify is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Research Engineering team in its Artist-First AI Music Lab, driving technical excellence and deploying state-of-the-art ML models for generative music technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Research Engineering team in the Artist-First AI Music Lab
- Drive technical excellence, infrastructure, and deployment of state-of-the-art machine learning models
- Manage a team of research engineers working at the intersection of deep learning research and large-scale software engineering
- Own the engineering roadmap, ensuring research codebases support rapid experimentation and training pipelines are efficient and reproducible
- Transition breakthroughs from experimental prototypes into production features used by hundreds of millions of listeners
