Avionics Test Hardware Development Engineer
Astranis seeks an Avionics Test Hardware Development Engineer to design and implement test hardware for satellite flight electronics. This mid-level role involves PCBA design, Python scripting, and hands-on testing in a fast-paced environment, offering equity and robust benefits.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design automated hardware design to validate electronic flight hardware
- Design PCBA's to interface with flight hardware
- Review all avionics flight hardware to ensure sufficient DFT (design-for-test)
- Write software in Python to control bench equipment, devices under test, and other test hardware
- Design, build, and support test infrastructure for hardware-in-the-loop tests
